The HID Integration Service (HIS) platform provides integration capabilities that may include the use of partner-deployed agents, to enable communication with third-party systems.
The HIS Agent is deployed, configured, and operated within the infrastructure of the integrating partner or customer environment. HID Global does not operate, manage, or control the runtime environment in which this agent is installed.
As a result, HID Global is not responsible for the certification, compliance validation, or regulatory assessment of the HIS Agent deployment, including but not limited to security certifications, privacy compliance, or industry-specific regulatory frameworks.
Responsibility for ensuring that the deployment, configuration, and operation of the HIS Agent complies with applicable regulatory, security, and certification requirements rests solely with the integrating partner or customer operating the agent within their environment.
HID Global’s compliance certifications (including but not limited to SOC 2 and ISO 27001) apply only to the HID-operated components and services within the defined certification scope of the HID Integration Service platform.
